Applications of Plastics for Marine Outfitting and Marine Installations,

Abstract

The possible applications of plastics in the outfitting of ships and installations in ships are reviewed. The properties of various materials are given along with their applications to plastic gears, bearings, propellers, tubes, damping systems, decorative laminations, and plastic covers of ship floors as well as anti-corrosive coatings.
