FAA Communications System Description (1973).

Abstract

The report describes the current operational communications employed by the FAA in supporting the National Aviation System. The evolution of FAA communications is presented as well as a summary of the primary information transfer. Detailed descriptions of all the major communication systems and subsystems are included. The content of the report covers Air-Ground, Ground-Ground (voice) and Ground-Ground (Data) Communications. (Author)
