On a Restricted Non-Isothermal Theory of Simple Materials.

Abstract

The paper deals with non-isothermal constitutive equations and related thermodynamical aspects of a restricted class of simple materials with fading memory. Special cases of the general results, pertaining to simple fluids and simple solids, are elaborated upon and comparisons are made with earlier related developments. (Author)
