Potentials of Charged Plates, Part I.

Abstract

When one has two parallel plates of equal width, the potentials resulting from them can be computed by means of elliptic integrals. This discussion provides test data for the more general algorithm of the report. In the present Part I, the revelant theory of elliptic integrals is summarized, with especial attention to the problems of deriving numerical values. (Author)
