Hydrologic Engineering Methods for Water Resources Development. Volume 11. Water Quality Determinations.
Abstract
The volume describes the important physical, chemical, and biological water quality parameters, discusses the water quality requirements of the major beneficial uses of water, and discusses the causes of water quality degradation. It also illustrates some numerical techniques pertinent to most water quality studies. Water quality surveys and methods of water quality control are also described. A generalized computer program description useful for evaluating the average monthly release temperatures from large stratified impoundments and a glossary of water quality terms are inclosed.
