Programs for Sequential Machine Design.

Abstract

The report describes four computer programs for the generation of sequential machine test cases. These programs are: Quine-McCluskey minimization; Simultaneous minimization of Multiple-output functions; Implicant generation from non-fundamental product terms (iterative consensus); Automatic minterm generation; Minimized excitation equations (2-levels) for a sequential machine given a minimal flow table and all codes. The programs are checked out on an IBM 370/165 system and can handle up to 32 variables simultaneously. (Author)
