The Vulcan Air Defense System (VADS): Dynamic Field Evaluator (DFE) for the Gun Air Fefense Effectiveness Study (GADES).

Abstract

The dynamic field evaluator is a measurement device using advanced simulation techniques to determine Vulcan Air Defense Systems (VADS) performance in terms of gun pointing accuracy. In addition, it permits controlled investigation of the effects on system accuracy of introducing into VADS improved and/or unique fire control components, subsystems and computation algorithms for solution to the fire control problem.
