Statistical Method of Detecting Errors in Digital Control Computers,

Abstract

The paper examines an algorithm for detecting computation errors. The algorithm is based on filtration of the noise caused by digital-computer failure against a background of the useful signal. Also considered are questions of realizing this algorithm in a program monitored by a digital computer with a limited time for the check operations.
