Abstract

973-22F19628-73-C-0002AF-649LESDTR-73-163(*tuned circuits, attenuation), coupling circuits, resonators, microwave equipmentequivalent circuitsThe symmetrically coupled transmission and reaction resonator circuits are analyzed through lumped RLC constant equivalent circuits and the transmission, relfection and dissipation characteristics are expressed in terms of loaded to unloaded Q ratio Q sub L/Q sub o. The return losses of reaction and transmission resonator circuits have the same expressions in terms of Q sub L/Q sub o as the insertion loss of transmission and reaction resonator circuits, respectively, and the dissipation loss referred to the incident power is identical for the two basic coupling circuits.
