A Simulation Study of the Department of Surgery at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center.
Abstract
The objective of the thesis was to develop a computer simulation model of the Department of Surgery at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) Medical Center. It is anticipated that this model will be utilized by Medical Center personnel to analyze this Department and assist in the development of models of other departments. At the time of this research, a centralized computer system for the Medical Center was being designed. Models such as this will be incorporated into this system in order to provide an improved capability for analysis, thereby updating management decision techniques.
