A Set of Asynchronous Control Modules.

Abstract

The basic problem of designing a new digital system is: Given a set of primitive RT-modules, a method of assembling them into systems, and a specification in natural language of the behavior desired, create a system out of the components that has the desired behavior. The main goal of this study is to develop a set of register transfer primitive control modules that are designed in fundamental mode, in order to standardize a methodology of design and to relate it to classical combinational and sequential theory as presented in current logic design books and courses.
