D-395G Grader with 'Profile-2' Automatic Mould-Board Control,
Abstract
The Chelyabinsk Order of Lenin Road Machinery Plant imeni Kolyushchenko has manufactured and conducted acceptance tests of a prototype of the D-395G road grader with the Profil'-2 system for automatic stabilization of the blade in the transverse and longitudinal directions. The Profil'-2 system for road graders with blade hydraulic drive, automatically maintains a given angle of the transverse profile and the given longitudinal profile determined by the base surface; the system also controls the raising and lowering of the blade with remote pushbutton controls, thus easing the operator's working conditions and increasing the productivity of the machine and the accuracy of the worked surface.
