Determination of the Entrainment of a Liquid by a Gas Stream from the Surface of a Film,

Abstract

The research was conducted to obtain equations which will give an idea of the degree of influence of a number of technological factors on the amount of spray entrainment, and make it possible, when necessary, to take very efficient measures to decrease or increase liquid entrainment from film apparatuses. These apparatuses are used to carry out heat and mass transfer measurements in liquid films.
