Communications Terminal Orbit Calculations.

Abstract

The report discusses the prediction of communications satellite time delay. Doppler shift, azimuth and elevation using a communications ground terminal minicomputer. It employs mean elliptic orbits with mean elements given by polynomials in time. It examines the accuracy of prediction for a number of satellites, including the LES-8/9 synchronous-altitude satellites. (Modified author abstract)
