On Fatigue Design Below and Within the Creep Range,

Abstract

Review of current design procedures as specified by the ASME Boiler Code is given. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of fatigue crack growth at elevated temperatures. It is suggested that improvements in code procedures will result from improved understanding of the flow fatigue and fracture processes which are of concern in design. (Author)
