Abstract
The report summarizes an exploratory development effort in the design and development of a Navy officer occupational analysis system. It describes the design and content of the Combat Information Center (CIC) officer data gathering instrument (task inventory), administration procedures, and computer processing of the data. Sample analyses of the derived data are presented as examples of military usefulness, and the methodology is critiqued. The CIC Officer task inventory and sample computer printouts are included as appendixes. (Author)
