Thermo Electric Cathode (Thermoelektronnyi Katod),

Abstract

A proposed thermoelectric cathode design is given. The device is for electro-vacuum devices based on rhenium, differing in that, to decrease the work function, thorium is added to rhenium in the amount corresponding to phase function of Re2Th. The cathode has high electric and thermal conductivity and is resistant to electron bombardment. (Author)
