Abstract

At the Moldavian Scientific Research Institute of Irrigation, Agriculture and Vegetable Growing, using instruments designed by the Scientific Research Institute and Vegetable Farming, the dependence of the transportability of various varieties of tomatoes as a function of their physical-mechanical properties was studied: The resistance of the skin and flesh to puncture, the resistance of the fruit to crushing, and the anti-bruising properties.
