Peer Ratings as Perceived by the Army War College Class of 1973.

Abstract

Several recent studies conducted by the United States Army War College (USAWC) recommended the possible use of peer ratings. Department of the Army (DA) has also shown an interest in peer ratings. The basic task in this research project was to determine student acceptability of peer ratings. Two different uses of peer ratings were posited; ratings for individual use only, and ratings for use by DA. The USAWC Class of 1973 was surveyed with an instrument designed by members of an elective course. (Modified author abstract)
