Abstract

The principal objective of this program is the development and testing of numerical techniques and software systems for use of ILLIAC IV over the ARPA Network. This is being accomplished through activities in the following areas: Development of numerical techniques suitable for parallel processing, Development of an ILLIAC IV multispectral image processing system, Development of ILLIAC IV language for the phase II system, Development of programs in large scale calculations such as input-output economic modeling, quadratic assignment algorithms for various classes of spatial allocation problems, and atmospheric dynamics, and Development of Network Access Computer System -- ANTS.
