Computer Simulation of a Vehicle Occupant in a Crash.

Abstract

Essential and desirable attributes of occupant simulation programs are developed and applied to evaluate five occupant simulation programs. Evaluation conclusions are presented, followed by a discussion of the modifications made to the selected program to correct errors, improve maintainability, and enhance user convenience. (Author)
