Real-Time Telemetry Processing System.

Abstract

The RTPS, Real-Time Telemetry System, was designed for support of flight testing naval aircraft and processing other types of test data. The system was assembled using standard commercial hardware units and components configured and integrated such that when operated under the control of the RTPS-OS, Real-Time Telemetry Processing System Operating Software, it meets the functional and operational capabilities of the specification. The RTPS has the capability of processing data in Real-Time prerecorded PCM Digital or FM Analog Tapes, and pre-recorded engineering units digital tapes. The outputs of the system are CRT Display, Hardcopy of the CRT Display, strip chart recorders, line printer output, digital readout, and recorded data in digital and/or analog tape form.
