Abstract

Hydrographic, chemical and optical data collected on legs 4 and 5 (November and December, 1971) of YALOC-71 in the vicinity of the Panama Basin are presented. The measurements were made for two purposes -- to study the behavior of the Cromwell Current near the Galapagos Islands and to study the suspended particulate matter in the Panama Basin. (Author)
