Search for Solar Recombination Lines in the Frequency Range 110-115 GHz.
Abstract
A search for solar recombination lines in active regions was made in the frequency range 110-115 GHz. The results, which were negative, are presented. An upper limit of T(l)/T(chr) approximately 10 to the minus 3rd power is given for the intensity ratio of the line to the continuum chromospheric emission. (Author)
