A Wide-Band Space Feed System Study. Part I.
Abstract
The report describes the study and evaluation of a wide bandwidth space feed system for a phased array. The report describes the methods used to optimize the system parameters and evaluate the pattern performance. Results of the optimization and evaluation of a given configuration are presented. A comparison with a confocal paraboloid (nonoptimized) system is made. (Modified author abstract)
