A Methodology for the Studies of the Impact of Organizational Values, Preferences, and Practices on the All-Volunteer Navy.

Abstract

The report discusses the methodology used in a study of the impact of current organizational practices on the ability of the Navy to meet requirements for manpower in an all-volunteer enviornment. It includes a description of the data collection instruments and measures, sampling and questionnaire administration procedures, and the characteristics of the Navy and civilian samples from whom data were collected.
