Electronic Digital Data Synchronizing and Instrumentation Amplification Techniques.

Abstract

The report focuses on two developments while designing and fabricating a computer controlled acquisition and control system. These two items are electronic designs for medium speed digital data synchronizing and high gain true instrumentation amplifiers. Two design concepts and the resulting circuit performance for synchronizing digital data are discussed, and comparisons are made where possible. The instrumentation amplifier design is discussed giving criteria for the proper choice of component values for the particular circuit, along with a comprehensive list of specifications on final performance. The discussion emphasis in both cases is the effective application of modern electronic components combined with proper design concepts in circuits which are not overly complicated, but rather well characterized.
