The analysis, which extended to load levels about ten times the load that produces the first buckle, was carried out rigorously by the use of the finite-difference computer code STAGS. The results show that the fuselage section does not collapse at the applied load were calculated. These data can be used as inputs for a finite-element analysis of the fuselage section. (Author)
