Photodetachment of Thermally Relaxed Molecular Negative Ions.
Abstract
Very briefly summarized are the following areas of research: Transport model for charged particles in drift tubes; Photodetachment cross section and sun-light photodetachment rate of thermally relaxed O3 and NO2 ions; Ion temperatures and ion velocity distribution under the influence of an uniform electric field, Interpretation of rate constants measured in drift tubes in terms of cross sections of ion-molecule reactions; and Interpretation of rate constants in terms of ion speed distributions in drift tubes.
