The purpose of the meeting was to inform the aviation community of the progress and results achieved to date and to provide an open forum for the exchange of information and views on the program. The document, which is a record of the symposium, includes an overview of the background and current status of the program and detailed information on the four MLS system approaches that will be field tested in the Phase II Feasibility Demonstration Program.
