Study of Noise in Air Route Traffic Control Center, Flight Service Station, Air Traffic Control Tower, and Remote Facilities

Abstract

The report describes various methods of reducing noise in several FAA Air Traffic Control and Navigational Facilities that exceed the facility noise criteria recommended in a previous report. Noise control procedures for each facility under consideration are described as well as the reasons for selecting specific noise reduction methods.
