Abstract

The main trends of the first experimental stage for technical reequipping of the Hydrometeorological Service of the USSR, carried out by the Administration of the Hydrometeorological Service of the Belorussian SSR, are outlined. Some results of practical application of new methods and technical facilities for automation of observations, collection and processing of various types of hydrometeorological data are presented.
