Biological Method of Pest Control,

Abstract

Effective biophysical and biochemical methods of attacking pests and diseases of cereal and industrial crops, vegetables, and fruit plantings are being actively developed. Scientists are uncovering and studying within the Soviet Union the natural resources of microorganisms which are capable of attacking pests and are conducting a search for entomophages -- parasites which are appearing as man's allies in the battle against insect pests.
