Primary Irritation Evaluation Program Study.

Abstract

ENT 35657-Ga, ENT-35633-GA, ENT-35692-GA, ENT 35693-GA and ENT 35718-GA which are candidate repellents, were evaluated on New Zealand White rabbits for their potential to cause skin and eye irritation. The data obtained serve as a basis for making a recommendation concerning their potential use on humans. This recommendation is intended only for guidance in further entomological testing of these compounds. Based on these tests ENT 35657 should be used with extreme caution around the eyes and mucosa. The remaining compounds should not be damaging to eyes or skin. (Author)
