Increment Core Specific Gravity of Wisconsin Hardwoods and Minor Softwoods.

Abstract

Data are presented on the breast height (4.5 ft) increment core specific gravities of 28 hardwood and two softwood species found in Wisconsin. Values are shown for mean core specific gravity and range by species; mean core specific gravity, standard error, and standard deviation by diameter class within survey units and species; and means and ranges of core specfic gravity, diameter breast height, age, and ring width by survey units and species.
