An 'On-Call' United Nations Force.

Abstract

Numerous authors have commented on the confused command and control structure of the United Nations Operation in the Congo. This report analyzes the different models of the United Nations command structure and develops a collective version of the chain of command. Primary research was conducted from United Nations documents and through the personal knowledge of the author. (Modified author abstract)
