Will the Nixon Doctrine Work in Indonesia.

Abstract

The basic questions are what policies should the United States follow in regards to Indonesia and will the Nixon Doctrine work in that country. Data were gathered using a literature search of material available at the USAWC. Important internal and external factors were identified and analyzed to determine the nature and scope of their impact on the stability, security and economic development of Indonesia. The Nixon Doctrine and current US programs were reviewed to determine their applicability to an Indonesian environment. (Modified author abstract)
