Task Analysis of U. S. Navy Enlisted Radiomen With Emphasis on Technical Controllers at the U. S. Communications Station, San Francisco, California.

Abstract

The report summarizes occupational analysis conducted in the United States, placing particular emphasis on the efforts of the military services. It presents an explanation of current task analysis procedure and computer programs used by the U. S. Navy in its occupational research. And, it describes how such methodology was used to conduct a task analysis of U. S. Navy enlisted radiomen. The results of that study are presented. It is concluded that further task analysis of U. S. Navy enlisted radiomen is desirable to improve organizational efficiency and the effectiveness of training. (Author)
