Project Themis Summary.
Abstract
Project Themis 'The Variations in the Earth's Atmosphere Produced by Solar Radiations' at UCR has contributed significant additional knowledge to the properties of the sun and the interaction of the sun's radiation with the atmosphere, the chemistry of the atmosphere, climatology and computer studies for remotely sensed imagery. The summaries of the scientific accomplishments are given in section 2 for each of the experiments. The reports and publications directly related to the Themis research are given in Section 3. The students and faculty that were supported by the Themis program are listed in Section 4.
