The Logistics Offensive - Repair Parts Support.

Abstract

The paper examines the elements of the Logistics Offensive as envisaged, promulgated, and directed by the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics from January 1970 to January 1972. The study takes a look at the various elements of the program as originally published, provides a broader insight into its meaning and clarifies some of the pronouncements of the circular which was its genesis. In so doing, the Logistics Offensive is given a cursory evaluation by specifying results achieved, as well as results desired from the program. (Modified author abstract)
