Washington-New York Air and Rail Passenger Traffic, 1972.

Abstract

During calendar year 1972, there was a combined total of 3.1 million air carrier and rail through-passenger-trips between Washington and New York/Newark. This was an increase of almost seven percent over 1971. Airline passengers increased by three percent while rail passengers climbed by 19 percent.
