Erosion of Senior Command Initiative: Myth or Reality.

Abstract

The constraints which are analyzed have been imposed on senior military commanders by governmental and military authority since the beginning of the 17th century and the impact they had on the outcome of campaigns and the world scene. (Modified author abstract)
