Latin America: Change and Security Assistance.
Abstract
The monograph identifies and examines those forces and agents of change which influence the social, economic and political development of Latin America so that security assistance can be effectively programmed and applied. The dynamic aspects of change and interrelations of agents and forms are discussed from the standpoint of effect on stability. It is concluded that Latin America will remain unstable for some time and that security assistance must be applied selectively to apply leverage for obtaining desired results. (Author)
