Multi-Sensor Recording Set WOX-3A.

Abstract

The Multi-Sensor Recording Set WOX-3A for simultaneously measuring acoustic, seismic, magnetic, pressure and temperature effects in water was developed. The sensors were assembled into a low-power waterproof package for operation in water depths to 600 feet. Connection between sensors and recorders is made by multi-conductor cable, while on shore the sensor outputs are recorded on strip charts and magnetic tapes. (Author)
