A Study of Ion-Neutral Reactions of Importance in the Upper Atmosphere.
Abstract
Reaction cross sections needed for the development of the ROSC code have been obtained. The major effort has been directed toward obtaining data for the reactions of several atmospheric ions with atomic oxygen. Reaction cross sections have also been obtained for processes involving the metastable N(+)(singlet D) ion. (Modified author abstract)
