Treatment of Wastewaters from Military Field Laundry, Shower, and Kitchen Units.

Abstract

A field study was conducted to evaluate a wastewater treatment process utilizing powdered activated carbon, a cationic polyelectrolyte and a modified standard Army water purification unit. Wastewaters used as feedwaters were effluents from field military shower, laundry, and kitchen units and a commercial laundromat. (Modified author abstract)
