Abstract

The report provides background information on the physiological effects of extreme cold on the human body. The basic document provides a brief overview of some of the physiological problems of operations in a cold environment and the procedures used to overcome these problems. The appendices provide detailed technical information on techniques and requirements for tests involving the effects of a cold environment on personnel. (Author)
