Abstract
The article is a brief summary and explanation of new state /GOST/ standards put into effect in July 1971. The eleven subsections of GOST 8756.0-70 through GOST 8756.10-70 cover sampling, net weight, volume determination and the content of various substances such as starch, mineral impurities, alcohol, aromatics, sediment, etc. in various canned foods.
