Determination of Temperatures of a Flow and of a Channel Wall Containing Heat,

Abstract

Many modern devices use constant heat sources and the heating of channels. The unsteady heat exchange processes occurring in such channels while heat carriers are being pumped through them are fairly complex so that it is important to know the temperature of the channel wall and flow in any cross-section and at any instant of time, and also the influence of basic factors thereon. The report considers cases in which the physical parameters of the heat carrier depend on temperature which may be considered as constant, and in which the heat transfer coefficients are constant along the channel length.
