Implementation of a Generalized Data Base Management System within an Organization,

Abstract

Many organizations are reevaluating their procedures for managing data. Generalized data base management system (GDBMS) are vendor supplied software systems, which may be used to satisfy these information processing requirements. The selection of the best system involves many organizational and technical decisions which are discussed in this article. (Author)
